Back in Business

Well, we were down for a while due to a funky server, but looks like all is well again.
I kind of doubt anyone was waiting with bated breath for new Huzzahs, but in case you were, I am going to have more time on my hands to post because...dum dum da da dum dum...I will not be going back to teaching in the fall. I'm still adjusting a little to the idea of not working outside the house, but I'm also VERY happy about the decision.

Bean is now at that age where she actually, you know, interacts with us, and it seemed like the right time and thing to do. Plus, she will be attending a preschool program at our county office of education two mornings a week, starting in September. I will have six hours to myself, every week! I am beginning to understand the appeal of this, even after only three days at home. Ha. Love her madly, etc, but...I'm ready for someone else to listen to her tantrums.

Hope everyone is having themselves a good summer so far. More news as it occurs.

Actually, I WAS checking almost every day - good to know that you're not gone forever!
Congratulations on making the decision to be a "SAHM" - although I know you'll go back to teaching someday. Yours is a vocation that cannot be ignored!
Glad to know all is well with you - and that Ella is as feisty as ever.
Now - will this change in employment status allow you to travel more? To Toronto perhaps???
