I don't really know what I am musing on these days. It's more like an irregular stream of consciousness thing...it seems to be working.

Three cheers for Steve Young

No, not THAT Steve Young...the one in Oakland. More precisely, our ocularist who is doing Bean's conformers and eventual prostheses. We got the first clear conformer in today and it's kind of amazing how quickly a difference has been made---her eye socket doesn't look as sunken, her eyelashes are much more symmetrical with the other side, and she's opening up the left eye much more than before. Even though we have a long way to go, this is such an exciting first step. Now, if only she would submit to the nap she so desperately needs...

It's great to see such a great man like Steve Young getting some well deserved praise! (and no Im not talking about Brighams grandson either) Steve Young gave me an incredible shot at a new life.He hand made my prosthetic eye back in 1973.I am very negligent in following the DR.S directions so I havent had it adjusted, polished or really anything in several years and it still looks great!! Thank you Steve ps. since Im not much into visiting the dentist or the doctor so the next time im in Oakland maybe I'll stop by with a bottle of champagne. :)
